![]() Uganda’s wildlife is divided into three main protected areas: National Parks, Wildlife Reserves and Forest Reserves. The 10 National Parks, spread across both sides of the equator, offer a unique opportunity to enjoy Uganda's biodiversity. From the savannah populated with antelopes, buffalo, lions, elephants, giraffes and more to the evergreen tropical rainforests and wetlands, from the great lakes of the Rift Valley and mighty rivers up to "Mountains of the moon" with its icy peaks, the tallest African mountain chain.
